Bangkok dust levels back to normal

Director of the Air Quality and Noise Management Bureau, Thalearngsak Petchsuwan explained that the recent surge in dust particle volume in the capital city resulted from a sudden rise in temperature, causing fine particulate matter (PM2.5) to accumulate and surpass the standard level of 50 micrograms per cubic meter. The Pollution Control Department still cautions that the dust problem might recur, and that people should wear face masks when going outdoors.
